Winners have emerged at the 2024 The Creative Championship (TCC) Awards and Dinner Night held in Ikenne for the 2023/2024 season.
Gbagada FC, despite a ninth-place finish in the TCC League, emerged as the biggest winners of the night, with three of their players making the Team of the Season.
The standout performer for the Blue Eagles was Semiu Fagbayi, who was crowned the Player of the Season, fending off competition from his teammates Rilwan Gbadamosi (Assist King) and Dannaz striker Joshua Obakimi.
Fagbayi registered 13 goals to finish as the fifth top scorer in the League behind Ibrahim Ogede (Iganmu), Obakimi, Ogbona Okoro (Dino) and Kparobo.
Sporting Lagos Academy and Real Sapphire were also well-represented in the Team of the Season with two players each, showcasing the depth of talent on display in the TCC.
Beyond Limits, the champions for the fourth time in a row were also honored, with their leading scorer Kparobo Arierhi taking home the Golden Boot award after netting 22 goals in just 15 matches.
Golden Eaglets assistant coach, Olumide Ajibolade, was named the Coach of the Season.
