Ayoola Oguntade and Juliet Eko have emerged winners of the 2016 edition of Cowbellpedia mathematics quiz competition for the Senior and Junior school categories respectively receiving the ultimate cash prize of 1 million Naira each.
The 1st and 2nd runner-ups in each category were rewarded with 750,000 Naira and 500,000 Naira respectively.
The Cowbellpedia Mathematics Quiz Competition also afforded teachers of the finalists to compete with their colleagues from other schools.
One of the highlights of the show was when Oluwatunmise Idowu, a 13-year-old student of Scholars Universal Secondary School, Ota, Ogun State came up for her special recognition award. Oluwatunmise had earlier won the Cowbellpedia 60 Seconds of Fame online contest through which she beat thousands of others to correctly solve tough mathematics questions in only 60 seconds.
