- October 2022: Maiden edition of Nigeria–Egypt Trade Conference and Exhibition (NETCE) launched in Cairo, Egypt.The two-day conference had as its theme, “For Africa, By Africa, exploring the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).” The conference was organised by the Nigeria-Egypt Cultural and Socio-Economic Forum (NECSEF) in collaboration with the Embassy of Nigeria in Cairo, Egyptian African Businessmen’s Association (EABA) under the auspices of the Government of Egypt.Business organisations in the two countries signed partnership agreements worth 30 million dollars.
- 2021: Nigeria Exports to Egypt was US$2.96 Million during 2021 while Nigeria Imports from Egypt was US$141.02 Million during 2021, according to the United Nations COMTRADE database on international trade.
