Team Nigeria Under-18 Girls Win 2023 International Handball African Championship

Nigeria’s under-18 girls’ handball team have emerged winners of the 2023 International Handball African championship title in Abidjan, Ivory Coast. The team defeated Guinea 33-18 to clinch the title. The girls also qualified for the International Handball Federation Trophy Intercontinental phase. Nigeria will now represent Africa in the intercontinental phase of the Handball championship.

Six (6) teams have emerged winners in the 2022 Hostwriter Story Prize. Grants of €1,000 is awarded to each of the winners of the 2022 Story Prize.
