Med Mind has emerged winner of the 2023 Bioprocess Engineering Machine Learning Interoperable Hackathon organized by the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN). The Med Mind team developed a user-friendly chatbot equipped with features such as treatment recommendations, drug-to-drug interaction analysis, disease prediction, drug dosage optimization, and general prompt questions.

Esemitodje Oghenerukevwe Patrick and Uwakfon Nyon Jacob have won Gold at the 2023 Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (PAMO) and International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO). The two students had represented Nigeria at this year’s competition, where they emerged overall best. The competition had 54 African country participating, only eight countries won Gold, which included Nigeria.
