Usheoritse Itsekiri has won the men’s 100 and 200 meters race events at the 2023 CALTAF Track Classic in Alberta.
He won the men’s 100 meters with a time of 10.11 seconds well ahead of second place finisher, Scott Joseph (10.41 seconds).
He later ran a Season’s Best (SB) of 20.59 seconds in the 200 meters.
Usheoritse Itsekiri has emerged winner of the men’s 100 meters race event at the 2023 Royal City Inferno Festival in Ontario with a time of 10.05 seconds (0.0).
He was just a few tenths off his Season’s Best (SB), finishing ahead of Duan Asemota in 10.17 seconds and Malachi Murray in 10.27 seconds.
World Record (WR) holder, Tobi Amusan secured her first Diamond League victory for 2023 winning the women’s 100 meters hurdles with a time of 12.52 seconds under wet conditions at the 2023 Stockholm Diamond League in Sweden.
She finished ahead of Sarah Lavin (12.73 seconds) and Pia Skrzyszowska (12.78 seconds).
