  1. Bukola Bolarinwa – Bukola has encouraged thousands of new people to come forward and give blood, by raising awareness of the life-saving importance of blood donation.
  2. Nasir Yammama – Nasir is harnessing the power of simple, low-cost technologies to help local farmers produce more crops and increase their sales.

Three Fellows; Buba Imrana, founder of My TV My School Initiative; Adeloye Olarenwaju, founder of SaferMom and Okocha Nkem, founder of Mamamonrize won 1,000,000 each at the 2016 Social Innovators Programme and Awards (SIPA), organised by Leadership, Effectiveness, Accountability and Professionalism (LEAP) Africa, in partnership with Union Bank Nigeria Plc

King Sunny Ade Inducted Into Hard Rock Café Hall of Fame [2016]

Legendary Nigerian musician, King Sunny Ade, has made history as the first Nigerian artiste to be inducted into the Hard Rock Café Hall of Fame and also the first Nigerian to have his memorabilia hanging from the Hard Rock Café.

He is also the first Nigerian to have his memorabilia hanging from the Hard Rock Café. Hard Rock’s archive includes over 77,000 items, and is the largest private collection of Rock and Roll memorabilia in the world.
