Super Falcons and Paris FC goalkeeper, Nnadozie Chiamaka, has been crowned the goalkeeper of the 2023/2024 season in France at the D1 Arkema Awards.
D1 Arkema is the top division of the women’s league in France.
She triumphed over legendary Lyon and Chile goalkeeper, Christiane Endler and the Polish number one goalkeeper to win the award.
Receiving the award, Nnadozie Chiamaka stated:
“Grateful and excited to have won the French D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Year. A big thanks to everyone who voted for me and also a Special appreciation to my coaches and teammates for all the support and encouragement, it wouldn’t have been possible without you all.
