No be say I be the perfect student;
But na my teacher be the perfect teacher;
When God create you,dear teacher;
E be like say He get me for mind;
He created you and gave me a friend;
When I dey confused,You go waka in with you smile;
You go calm me down and say “E go clear”.
When God created you ,dear teacher;
Him give me a counsellor;
Those times wey i no know road wey i go pass ;
I follow you wey know road.
The love wey you dey give;
The bright smile wey always dey your face;
You light the potentials and creativity wey I know no say they dey inside of me;
You get that special gift to dey teach;
You add love to whatever you dey do.
When everyone don look down on me;
They think say I no fit be anything;
You tell me say one day ,I go be a great teacher too;
Today na teacher I be;
No be only because I wan be like a mini you;
But because me sef wan touch lives just like you touched mine;
Na you make me who I be today;
Because say you believed in me.
