Lagos State University has emerged winner of the 2024 National Inter Faculty Competition (NIFC) organized by Redeemers University.
Participating universities from all over the nation were drawn to Redeemers University’s nationwide competition.
Students were tested in various disciplines, such as advocacy, debate, essay writing, and brief writing. Multiple rounds of intense competition tested competitors’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
Lagos State University was represented by Kodjovi Daniel in the essay writing phase and by Aina Ayomide and Abdulquadri Ajeniya in the debate phase.
In the championship rounds, LASU was represented by Bolajojo Animasaun and Akinrinde Fredrick.
The president of LASU’s Student Advocate Association, Akinwunmi David, expressed his happiness over the students’ outstanding accomplishment.
“This triumph is evidence of our students’ diligence, commitment, and intelligence. They have made us very proud and once again shown their intelligence.”
