Immaculate Onyinye Onuigbo of the Department of Petroleum Chemistry, AUN emerged the overall best graduating student of the class of 2017 and received seven awards and different cash prices for each award from corporate sponsors.
Her awards were best graduating student in Petroleum Chemistry, overall best student of school of arts and sciences, two cooperate awards with a cash prize of 500,000 Naira each and a fully paid internship in any subsidiary of Afrinvest Limited.
Other graduating students who received various awards were;
Comfort Afolabi – Best in Finance and Overall best School of Business and Entrepreneurship
Jamila Abubakar Mohammed – Best graduating student in Economics
