The questions were scheduled to be uploaded by 10AM on the dot but on the contrary, the questions came up by 9:59AM and yet questions from 10:06AM will be nullified? Considering that some persons may have emergencies and happen to come in at exactly 10:AM only to discover that the quiz has been posted a minute earlier than said, I suggest that they also be given the benefit of a minute extra as the closing limit in order to be fair. Thank you. Excuse me sir, I stand to be corrected. Dear Michael, thank you for your comment. However, your timing cannot be on us because for equity, we rely on the most accurate general timing as much as possible. Kindly compare your time set with that of 'Google' or even, it might be possible that this is a network delay from your end. Hope this helps. Best regards! Thank you. Dear Merciful, thank you for your comment. The quiz competition indeed commences from 10:00am. We posted the question 9:59:08 am - precisely less than a minute. We do this (and you may confirm from previous editions, in which you have also participated in) so as to ensure that inconveniences or disappointments are avoided (from the organisers end - which was experienced in last month's edition of as well as on the part of the participants) and as such, participants having been ready can take part with ease in the competition. To give a practical example, assume we post the questions exactly at 10:00:00am and it takes up to a minute or 3o seconds for the questions to be uploaded possible due to terrible internet network connection, this defeats the set time and would need same minute or more extensions almost all the time (as experienced last month). Thus, for consistency, we try to post the questions few seconds before 10:00:00am so that the entire process can be a great and satisfying experience. It is not clear what your logic or observations as regards the closing by 10:06:00am but be rest assured that if you think it should be extended to 10:07:00am (as your comment largely connotes), this is not practical as there has been no delay in uploading the questions to warrant such and even gives justification to the point already explained above. If you would like to understand the logic as to how we have 10:06:00am as our closing time and timing in general as regards the quiz, kindly locate on this Forum, the thread published last year on extensive open discussions on this (Roland Okoyo at the time was the individual who proposed what we currently abide by and it was suggested and accepted in truly good faith). Hope this helps. Best regards! Excuse me sir, I stand to be corrected. According to the rule in this regard, "Answer questions by only stating the Question Number(s) and correct/preferred Answer alphabet option. For example: 1. B ; 2. A ; 3. C ; etc.". The essence is to tie a number to an answer of alphabet. However, what is not acceptable is where answers are just stated without the corresponding number/numbering. For example: B C A B D C A B D A B A B (or as can be seen in previous examples: https://www.positivenaija.com/forum/topic/january-2020/?part=1 OR https://www.positivenaija.com/forum/topic/mock-test-bible-quiz-2/).
