Favour Ofili has set a new African Record in the women’s 150 meters straight at the 2024 Adidas Atlanta City Games, running a blistering 16.30 seconds (0.0).
She stumbled at the starting blocks but still managed to pull off such a performance. She and her training partner Candace Hill jointly got the the same time, the American getting the win by the tiniest of margins – 0.006 seconds.
