Mfon Udoh and Sanusi Ibrahim of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) have officially been rewarded with the 2019 Eunisell Boot Award and a cash prize of 2 million each for emerging joint-highest goal scorers in just concluded season (2018/2019).

Akwa United captain and Nasarawa United striker both scored 10 goals each this past NPFL season and Eunisell values a goal in the Nigeria Professional Football League at Two Hundred Thousand Naira (200,000) at the Eunisell Boot Awards 2019 ceremony held in Raddison Blu Hotel, Ikeja-Lagos.

Okagbare-Ighoteguonor Blessing Wins 100 Meters Event At 2019 IAAF Diamond League In Rabat

Okagbare-Ighoteguonor Blessing has emerged first place winner in the women’s 100 meters event at the 2019 IAAF Diamond League in Rabat, Morocco.

Okagbare-Ighoteguonor Blessing won the event at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium with a Season Best Time of 11.05 seconds ahead of her Ivorian rival and current African champion, Marie Josee Ta Lou, who posted a time of 11.09 seconds while Crystal Emmanuel of Canada was third in 11.30 seconds.

The race held on the on the 16th of June 2019 was Okagbare’s 60th appearance in the Diamond League and she marked it with her first-ever win in Rabat.

Winners Of 2019 CDS, Armed Forces And Security Agencies Half Marathon Championship

Winners have emerged at the Third Edition of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), Armed Forces And Security Agencies Half Marathon Championship.

CA II Gideon Goyet of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) clinched the star prize of a Toyotal Yaris 2018 Model for emerging the overall best and first position in the male category in a new record of 1 hour 11 minutes, 56 Seconds, while NSCDC’s Deborah Pam and Ayuba Dahiru of the Nigerian Army (NA) both went home with the Hyundai and the Innoson SUV Jeep for clinching the first positions in the female and veterans’ categories.

Usheoritse Itsekiri Wins 100 Meters Event At The 2019 International Meeting Anhalt

Usheoritse Itsekiri has clocked a time of 10.21 seconds to win the 100 meters event at the 2019 International Meeting Anhalt at the Paul Greifzu Stadium in Dessau, Germany.

Usheoritse Itsekiri beat South African Simon Magakwe (10.27 seconds) and Direck Silva from Brazil (10.35 seconds) to 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

Compatriot Ogho-Oghene Egwero finished fourth with a Season Best (SB) time of 10.35 seconds.

Winners Emerge In Zenith Bank/NFF 2019 U-13 & U-15 Future Eagles Tournament

The South West Under-13 and the South-South Under-15 football teams have emerged winners of the national finals of the Zenith Bank/NFF U-13 and U-15 Future Eagles Tournament held in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

South-West U-13 Team won North Central U-13 Team 5-0 to emerge winners of the U-13 category, while South-South U-15 Team defeated South-East U-15 Team 2-0 to win the U-15 category.

Divine Ejowvokoghene Oduduru Named 2019 USTFCCCA Co-Men’s Track Athlete Of The Year

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named Divine Ejowvokoghene Oduduru, the 2019 Co-Men’s Track Athlete of the Year.

At the NCAA Division 1 Championships concluded in June 2019 in Austin, Texas, Divine Ejowvokoghene Oduduru successfully completed a sprint double, winning the 100 meters and 200 meters titles in scintillating fashion.

Divine Ejowvokoghene Oduduru won the 100 meters in 9.86 for his third sub-10 race of the season. Barely an hour later, the 22 years old delivered another sub-20 in the 200 meters.
