Ashley Anumba has won the women’s discus throw event at the 2023 Iron Woods Throw Classic in Idaho with a throw of 61.56 meters.
She finished ahead of Elena Bruckner (58.88 meters) and Veronica Fraley (58.16 meters).
Anumba’s throw makes it the third time she will be throwing over 60 meters this season.

Seye Ogunlewe has won the men’s 200 meters race event at the 2023 Horst Mandl Memorial in Granz with a personal best of 20.63 seconds.
The three-time 100 meters national champion came so close to achieving the World Championships benchmark of 10.00 seconds in the 100 meters after blazing to a Personal Best (PB) of 10.04 seconds to place second to Eugene Amo Dadzie (9.93 seconds).
Usheoritse Itsekiri has won the men’s 100 and 200 meters race events at the 2023 CALTAF Track Classic in Alberta.
He won the men’s 100 meters with a time of 10.11 seconds well ahead of second place finisher, Scott Joseph (10.41 seconds).
He later ran a Season’s Best (SB) of 20.59 seconds in the 200 meters.
