Nigeria Emerge 3rd At African Women Beach Volleyball 2016

Nigeria Female Team wins 3rd place at the African Women Beach Volleyball 2016 Olympics Qualifiers at the Jabi lakeside in Abuja.

The Nigerian teams 1 and 2 will now participate in the Women Beach Volleyball World Championship.

The qualifiers are being hosted by the Nigeria Volleyball Federation (NVBF) in conjunction with the Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB).
The win saw Nigeria’s team 2, which has African champions Priscilla Agera and Isabella Laju, defeating Mauritius’s team 1 of Angelique Ramdoss and Vanessa Gellumber, 21-15 and 21-15 to end the game 2-0. In another game, Nigeria’s team 1, made up of Fransisca Ikhiede and Tochukwu Nnoruga, beat Mauritius’s team 2 of Maita Cousin and Heidy Bauda 21-10, 21-15 for a 2-0 finish.

Sunday Oliseh Appointed Into New FIFA Technical Committee [2016]

Former Super Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh has been appointed into the new FIFA technical committee.
However, he will have plenty of support from FIFA as it is a familiar ground for the former Juventus and Ajax midfielder who worked as part of the technical study team during the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
