Alaba Akintola has won the men’s 100 meters race event at the 2024 Outdoor City Music Challenge in Nashville, clocking a time of 10.04 seconds (3.5).
He defeated Brandon Harris who was second in 10.11 seconds and Chris Royster in 10.16 seconds. The women’s race went to Elo Blessing Okpah in 11.32 seconds (2.8).
Stephen Eloji has won the men’s 110mH at the 2024 Outdoor City Music Challenge in Nashville, clocking a time of 13.55 seconds (1.0) to win.
He defeated Daryl Okeke, who was a far second in 13.99 seconds, while Vince Flegeance was third in 14.32 seconds.
Eloji has been the fastest Nigerian man in the event since 2023, and this performance makes him only the third Nigerian man this millennium to run at least 13.5 in back-to-back years!

Victoria Aransiola has run a Personal Best (PB) of 22.87 seconds (1.0) to win the women’s 200 meters final at the South Atlantic Championships in Hickory.
She smashed her PB, which stood at 23.48 seconds and beat NCAA D2 Record holder and teammate Alexis Brown, who had to settle for second in 23.26 seconds. Olivia Cosby was third in 24.39 seconds.
Balikis Yakubu has run a Personal Best (PB) of 11.27 seconds (0.9) to win the women’s 100 meters race event at the 2024 Gulf South Conference Championships in Montevallo.
She set a new School Record and then doubled back swiftly with another PB in the 200 meters, clocking 23.16 seconds (0.2) and defeating the field by almost a full second.

He paced himself well, taking just 3 throws and winning well clear of Cameron Bates (BYU), who reached 69.62 meters and Riley Marx (Kansas State) in third with 68.04 meters.
