Follow The Money (FTM) and Lend An Arm have been named among the 40 winners of the 2021 World Summit Awards [Nigeria].

Follow The Money (FTM), a social accountability initiative of Connected Development (CODE), emerged winner in the category of ‘peace, justice and strong institutions’, affirming its position as one of Africa’s leading accountability home-grown initiatives shaping the world.

Lend An Arm, emerged winner in the category of ‘good health and well-being’.

Project Lend an Arm is Nigeria’s first smart blood bank; piloting in Oyo state of south-west Nigeria. It is a youth-focused holistic blood supply solution founded in 2017, aiming to solve the persistent shortage of blood and blood products in Nigeria by tackling the issue systematically, addressing root causes.

Winners Of 2021 Social Impact Challenge Competition By YoungStars Initiative

Wilfred Emmanuella, Adeboh Hannah, Comfort Agbo, Gift Ononiwu, and Dorcas Jacob have emerged winners of the 2021 Social Impact Challenge Competition, organised by the YoungStars Initiative.

The winners who won $1,000 each for winning the competition were rewarded at the 2022 Female And More (FAM) Summit in Abuja.

Winners Of 4th Gani Fawehinmi Impact And Integrity Awards (GFIIA)

Winners have emerged at the 4th edition of the Gani Fawehinmi Impact And Integrity Awards (GFIIA) following a five-month public process of nominations, shortlisting and voting.

The award was instituted by Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA) Resource Centre with the support of MacArrthur Foundation in honour of the late human rights activist and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Gani Fawehinmi.

The award honoured 12 Nigerians with different categories of awards for their outstanding behaviour and actions, which has contributed to and enhanced public perception of Nigeria.

Women’s Interfaith Council Awarded Aachen Peace Prize 2021

Women’s Interfaith Council has been awarded the Aachen Peace Prize 2021 for its work in the Nigerian state of Kaduna, where Christians and Muslims stand together for peaceful coexistence.

Daharatu Ahmed Aliyu and Elizabeth Majinya Abuk received the Aachen Peace Prize on behalf of their organization, the Women’s Interfaith Council (WIC).
