Tracy Eboigbodin Wins 11th Series Of MasterChef Italia

28-year-old Tracy Eboigbodin has emerged winner of the 11th Series of MasterChef Italia held in Rome on March 3, 2020.

The competition is an international culinary talent hunt show, which takes place in the UK, USA, Australia and other countries.

Tracy won the competition with a menu entitled L’abbraccio – the embrace, beating off stiff competition from two young male chefs, 18-year-old Carmine Gorrasi and Christian Passeri, a 20-year-old with Asperger syndrome.

Victor Chude Emerges President Of International Union Of Soil Sciences (IUSS)

Victor Chude has emerged as the new President of the International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) with its Headquarters at Vienna, Austria.

This is the first time in the 98 years of the IUSS that a Nigerian will become the president through an election.

Victor Chude, who is the Registrar, Nigeria Institute of Soil Science (NISS) is expected to serve in the position for the next three years (2023-2026).

Ichor Joshua Wins 2022 United Nations Swarovski Prize

21-year-old Ichor Joshua has emerged winner of the 2022 United Nations Swarovski Prize for creating a technology that monitors contamination and scarcity in groundwater wells in Africa.

The final-year geology student at the University of Jos who is the first and only African to win the Swarovski Prize won alongside five other innovators from different continents.
