Team Tetra Of UNILAG Wins 2019 Global Management Challenge

Team Tetra of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) have emerged first place winner  in the national finals of the second edition of the Global Management Challenge (GMC).

Team Tetra were rewarded with a cash prize of 500,000 Naira.

The trio, Obi Ifechukwu, Ojodu Opeyemi and Amosu Oluwatobi of Team Tetra, represents UNILAG and Nigeria in the International Finals scheduled to hold in Russia in July 2019.

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) Wins 2019 Nigerian Psychological Association Quiz

Department of Psychology, Nasarawa State University, Keffi, (NSUK) has emerged winner of the 2019 Nigerian Psychological Association quiz competition organised in honour of Professor Isidore Obot.

The competition, which took place in Lagos state drew universities from the six geo-political zones of Nigeria.

The quiz started at the zonal levels before climaxing in Lagos state.

Iberiyenari Godstime Tamunofiri Wins 2018 Nigerian Students Poetry Prize (NSPP)

Iberiyenari Godstime Tamunofiri has emerged overall winner of the 2018 Nigerian Students Poetry Prize (NSPP).

Iberiyenari Godstime Tamunofiri, a 400-level student of Chemical Science at Niger Delta University, Wilberforce Island, Yenagoa clinched the first prize with her poem titled ‘Deep Dreams’.

Amagwula Nnenna Comfort, a 200-level student of Physiology at the University of Lagos came second with her poem ‘Yet Another Head’.

Ikeobi Samuel Chukwubuokem, a 500-level student of Electrical Electronics Engineering at the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta won the third prize with his poem ‘Two Sides of Hakeem’.

Major Ajibade Azeez Atobatele Emerges Best At University of Lancaster [2019]

Major Ajibade Azeez Atobatele of the Directorate of Army Legal Services, has emerged with a distinction in International Human Rights and Terrorism Law, coming top in his class at University of Lancaster, United Kingdom.

The Nigerian Army officer also won the Best Dissertation Award of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Lancaster and was honoured at the convocation ceremony of the University.

Daniel Obaji Emerges Youngest Ever Graduate At New York University Abu Dhabi [2019]

18-year-old Daniel Obaji has emerged the youngest ever graduate at New York University Abu Dhabi, class of 2019.

The gifted biology major student moved to Abu Dhabi from Nigeria to pursue his studies when only 15 and commences the latest venture of his academic career (PhD in biology) at the New York University, New York in the United States of America.

His specialty is in neuroscience and is focusing on computational biology, which is a combination of computer studies and biology.

Tobechukwu Phillips Emerges First Black Valedictorian In Alvin High School’s 125-year History

Tobechukwu Phillips has emerged the first Black valedictorian of Alvin High School in Texas 125 years after it was established in 1894.

This incredible feat takes place 54 years after the school integrated with African-American students in 1965.

Tobechukwu Phillips graduated with a 6.9 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale, which she earned by taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses along with her electives.

She got to the top of her class by getting all A’s throughout her four years in school. This is in addition to her other interests.
