Ajibola Olubando has emerged the first Nigerian postgraduate recipient of the Lebanese Nigeria Initiative (LNI) scholarship programme ahead of 15 other contesting students.

Esigbone Omagbemi Ferdinard Wins 2019 Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition

16-year-old Esigbone Omagbemi Ferdinard of Roshallom International Secondary School, Egbeda, Lagos has emerged the overall winner in the 2019 edition of the Mike Okonkwo National Essay Competition for Secondary School students in Nigeria competition, having scored a total average of 68 percent.

The second position went to Oluwaseun Aremu of Shepherd International College, Ado-Ekiti with an average score of 61 percent, while Adeola AdemuwaIfeola from Chrisfield College, Itamaga, Ikorodu came third with a total average score of 60 percent.

The fourth position was a tie, with West Tamunonye also of Christfield College, Itamaga, Ikorodu, and Anazia Rita from Roshallom International School with a total average score of 56 percent.

Ajayi Ibukun of Fit-Charis International School and Olaitan Olajuwon of Chrisfield College, Itamagaboth took the fifth position respectively in the competition with an average score of 54 precent.

Korede Bolaji Amole has emerged the overall winner of the 2018 Consolidated Hallmark Insurance (CHI) Plc national essay competition.

Korede Bolaji Amole from the Insurance Department of the Federal Polytechnic, Offa, Kwara State, receives a prize of 250,000, and an opportunity of getting employed by the insurer after graduation.

The reward is part of the company’s efforts to encourage insurance education and awareness creation across the country.

Ajia Motunrayo Emerges All-Time Best Graduating Student At Covenant University [2018/2019]

Ajia Motunrayo, a student in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, College of Engineering of Covenant University, has emerged the best student with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 5.0 at the 2018/2019 convocation.

This is the first time that a student attains such a feat in the institution and therefore makes Ajia Motunrayo the all-time best graduating student. The closest to her feat being the 2016 convocation where Master Winner Deji-Folutile from Department of Architecture had 4.97.

A total of 215 students of the Covenant University, Ota in Ogun State were conferred with First Class degrees at its 2018/2019 convocation held on the 19th of July 2019.

Redeemers International Schools Win Inaugural Educraft Abacus Lagos Schools Competition

Redeemers International Schools (RIS), Apapa emerge first place winner of the maiden Abacus Lagos Schools Competition organised by Educraft Nigeria Limited in preparing children for mathematical challenges.

The representatives of Redeemers International Schools defeated two other schools, Devine Children Place and Epitome Kiddies Care School, which emerged second and third positions respectively to be honoured with the most prestigious SIP Abacus School.

Devine Children Place, won the Most Supportive and Loyal SIP Abacus School, while Epitome Kiddies Care School was recognised as the Most Progressive SIP Abacus School.

There was no cash reward at the maiden edition; medals, trophies and plaques were presented to the winners of each category of the competition.

Peter Ogbonna Eze was awarded the honor for the most outstanding student in the international degree programs among 2019 graduates during the convocation ceremony, which held on June 25, 2019.

Mr. Eze obtained a master’s degree in public administration.
