Esther Bewaji Wins Third Edition Of Nigeria Info’s “I Beg To Differ” Student Debate Competition

Esther Bewaji, a fourteen-year-old student of Silversands Hall School, Lekki, has emerged as the winner of the third edition of Nigeria Info’s “I Beg To Differ” Student Debate Competition.

She emerged winner after weeks of extensive debates on diverse socio-economic and political issues that pertain to the overall development of Nigeria.

Esther was awarded a one million Naira cash prize, a laptop, and a tablet, while the first-runner up, Hameed Olanrewaju, received 500,000 Naira, a smartphone, and a tablet.

The second-runner up, Qoowiyyah Wuraola Salam, an SS2 student of At-Tanzeel Schools, won 250,000 Naira, a Bluetooth speaker, and a tablet.

Winners Of 2022 SystemSpecs Children’s Day Essay Competition (CDEC)

SystemSpecs, Africa’s financial, human capital, and e-commerce technology company, has announced the winners of the 30th-anniversary edition of its annual Children’s Day Essay Competition (CDEC).

Leading about 2,000 other entrants from 795 schools across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, 11-year-old Oluwaseun Samuel Temitayo-Ojo of Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos emerged the winner in the junior category while 15-year-old Ekemini Keziah Effiong-Robert of the African Church Model College, Agege, Lagos, emerged winner in the senior category.

Dr. Kennedy Obehiri Obohwemu has emerged winner of the “Three-Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition” 2022, organised by the University of Sunderland, United Kingdom.

The three-minute thesis competition is an annual competition held in more than 200 universities worldwide.

It is open to PhD students, and challenges participants to present their research in just 180 seconds, in an engaging form that can be understood by an intelligent audience with no background in the research area.
