Aisha Tijani has emerged the overall winner of the sixth edition of the Endometriosis Support Group Nigeria (ESGN) Senior Secondary School Essay Competition.

Aisha Tijani, a student of Crescent College, Victoria Island emerged winner in the competition, which is eligible for participation for SS1 to SS3 female students of all secondary schools in Lagos State.

The essay competition, which seeks to showcase the knowledge of the students on endometriosis was organised by Nordica Fertility Centre in conjunction with AstraZeneca.

Nwobodo Chiahanam Joseph, a Medicine & Surgery student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has emerged overall winner of the 2022 CIPM Essay Competition.

Agwuna Favour Obianuju, studying Pharmacy and Ibe Chijioke Kennedy, studying Medical Radiography and Radiological Sciences, both who are student of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) emerged second and third respectively.

The awards ceremony was held during the CIPM 54th International Conference & Exhibitions at Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Professor Folasade Tolulope Ogunsola (nee Mabogunje) has emerged as the first female Vice Chancellor of the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Her appointment was announced on October 7, 2022 by the UNILAG governing council as she becomes the first female vice-chancellor in the school’s 60-year history, and the 13th vice-chancellor of the university.

She is a Nigerian Professor of medical microbiology and specializes in disease control, particularly HIV/AIDS.
