2016 Companion of the Star of Ghana (CSG) Award

Dr. Mike Adenuga and Professor Chukwuka Okonjo have been honoured with the Companion of the Star of Ghana (CSG) Award.

Globacom Chairman, Dr. Mike Adenuga Jr was awarded in recognition of his “unique and outstanding contribution to business enterprise both in Ghana and the continent of Africa at large”.

Professor Chukwuka Okonjo, Obi of Ogwashiukwu was awarded in recognition of his “stellar and distinguished contributions to Ghana’s education system”.

The Companion of the Star of Ghana (CSG) Award is Ghana’s highest civil award, and was presented to the Nigerians by Ghanaian President, Mr. John Dramani Mahama.

A team of three students from the Faculty of Law, Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) emerge with a second position finish at the 2016 World Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition held in Guadalajara in Mexico.

The team appeared as Africa’s representatives at the 2016 World Rounds of the Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition held in Guadalajara in Mexico where this year’s International Astronautical Congress (IAC) also held.
