2024 Last Chance Qualifier: Alaba Akintola Wins 100 And 200 Meters Race Events

Alaba Akintola has won the 100 meters and 200 meters race events at the final of the 2024 Last Chance Qualifier in Georgia.

He clocked a Season’s Best (SB) of 10.08 seconds (+1.2) to win the men’s 100 meters final, beating Ronnie Baker who was second in 10.14 seconds and Ameer Webb in 10.20 seconds.

He returned to the track for the 200 meters, running away with the win in a time of 20.40 seconds (+0.3) ahead Ameer Webb in 20.60 seconds and US Indoor Champion Brian Faust in 20.66 seconds.

2024 USATF NYC Grand Prix: Udodi Onwuzurike Wins 100 Meters Race Event

Udodi Onwuzurike has won the men’s 100 meters race event at the 2024 USATF NYC Grand Prix, clocking a time of 10.24 seconds (-0.7).

He held off the charge of Kendal Williams in 10.25 seconds. PJ Austin was third in 10.26 seconds, while Fred Kerley who lined up to run, eventually walked away from the start line after issues with his blocks.
