Abdullateef Olasubomi Abdul has emerged the overall winner of the 2nd Babalola’s Law Dictionary Quiz Competition For Young Lawyers.
Abdullateef Olasubomi Abdul, an Associate at Ikeyi Shittu & Co. received the grand cash prize of ₦250,000 courtesy of the firm of Perchstone and Grady’s.
The event, which had 9 finalists was held at Onikan Youth Centre, Lagos on June 07, 2019.
The competition had in attendance, among other dignitaries, Mr. Yemi Akangbe and the chairman Nigeria Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, Ikeja branch, Mr. Ezekiel Bodunde Esq.
Olaitan Victor of Macbenson Consult emerged the 1st runner up with ₦150,000 courtesy of the firm of Probitas Partners and Sandra Eke of SPA Ajibade and Co. came 2nd runner up with ₦100,000 courtesy of Twelve Legal.
The Competition Judges were: Harrison Ogalagu, Associate Partner of Tope Adebayo LP; Chinasa Uwanna, Senior Associate of Banwo and Ighodalo; Marx Ikongbe, Principal Partner of Everlaw & Associates; Arinze Nsofor, Associate Partner of Perchstone & Graeys; Mobola Akinkugbe, Partner of AO2 Law, Shade Olagbaye, Chief State Counsel, Ministry of Justice, Anthony Okwuosa, Company Secretary of Filmhouse Cinemas and Deborah Chukwuedo. Mr. Abdullateef Olasubomi Abdul is the current Chair of the Regional Development Subcommittee of the International Bar Association (IBA) International Sales Committee. On the 5th of March 2019, he was appointed as the National Representative for Nigeria by IBA.
