Joy Udo-Gabriel Wins Women’s 60 Meters Race Event At 2025 Arkansas Qualifier

Joy Udo-Gabriel has clocked a personal best of 7.24 seconds to win the women’s 60 meters race event final at the 2025 Arkansas Qualifier.

She lowered her Missouri Southern school record twice in an hour — first with 7.25 seconds in the heats and then 7.24 seconds in the final, marking her fourth record-breaking run this year.

Leah Bertrand finished second in 7.25 seconds, with Sade McCreath-Tardiel third in 7.28 seconds.

Joshua Caleb has emerged winner of the 60 meters and 200 meters race events at the 2025 GNAC Indoor Championships in Spokane.

He clinched the men’s 60 meters title in 6.66 seconds before storming to a 21.07 seconds win in the 200 meters — just an hour later.

Caleb remains the fastest man in NCAA Division II this year at both distances, boasting personal bests of 6.57 seconds (60 meters) and 20.82 seconds (200 meters).

The Team Nigeria captain at the last Olympic Games, defeated Egypt’s Adham Hatem in straight sets, winning the final 2-0 (21-7, 23-21) to successfully retain his title.

He is the reigning champion at all continental levels, winning the African Games title last year in Accra, Ghana.

Goodness Iredia has recorded a new indoor Personal Best (PB) of 7.90 meters to win the men’s Long Jump at the 2025 Windy City Invitational in Wisconsin.

He broke his own School Record and moves into number two on the Nigerian season’s toplist.

In the same lane, Emmanuel Njoku made his second appearance for Iowa at the Tyson Invitational, where he also won the Long Jump with an indoor PB of 7.69 meters.

2025 Tyson Invitational: Chioma Nwachukwu Wins 400 Meters Race Event

Chioma Nwachukwu has emerged winner of the women’s 400 meters race match-up event at the 2025 Tyson Invitational, lowering her personal best yet again to 52.25 seconds.

Ella Onojuvwevwo finished second in an indoor personal best of 52.44 seconds.

They both finished ahead of Olympic finalist Sada Williams who ran 53.25 seconds in third place.
