Careforce International Chaplaincy (CIC) is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) with the vision of the chaplaincy aimed at administering love and care through collaboration with other humanitarian agencies, donors and government support in giving hope.
The Chaplains are to help the needy in the society especially those who need the gospel of Jesus Christ, the victims of natural disasters, the vulnerable, those in prisons, hospitals and so on.
Chaplains are priests, clergy (Pastors) and ministers who are called fundamentally as missionaries in a unique culture to humanitarian services. Chaplains receives basic paramilitary training to maintain discipline in their operations. They are in uniform for public identification and with rank structure as a mark of respect and leadership amongst them.
Chaplaincy is a noble profession recognised in the world just like the Red Cross Society and all other humanitarian organizations. It is recognized in the military and even the Police Force.
Chaplaincy started in the United States of America (USA). Today, it is known to the world due to its activities and impacts. In addition, there are serving military chaplains and socio-religious chaplains, which are all geared toward serving humanity as love and care provider.
When one becomes a chaplain officer, he or she is to serve his immediate community, country and the world at large.
