Onyinyechi Mark has set a world record of 150 kg in women’s up to 61 kg Para-Powerlifting event and wins a gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
After securing the gold medal in women’s up to 61 kg Para-Powerlifting, Onyinyechi Mark returned to smash the world record (WR) she had set earlier, further improving on that mark with a new WR of 150 kg.
She has now set the last three world records in this event: 146 kg, 147 kg, 150 kg; all in one year. She broke two world records in 10 minutes.
