Udodi Onwuzurike has emerged winner of the men’s 200 meters race event at the 2023 Mt. SAC Relays clocking a Season’s Best (SB) of 20.14 seconds (1.8).
He becomes the first Nigerian male sprinter to secure qualification for the 2023 World Championships in Hungary. This is Onwuzurike’s second fastest time in the 200 meters.
Matthew Boling finished second in 20.27 seconds and David Dunlap finished third in 20.38 seconds.
