PositiveNaija invites submission for the 2022 PositiveNaija Online Art and Photography Exhibition organised to promote the beauty of good character.
The online art and photography exhibition with the theme “Real Beauty Is Good Character” is aimed at promoting positive values in human interactions as well as celebrate the International Day of Human Solidarity (December 20).
Task:
Present (snap) an original work of art of yours consistent with the theme “Real Beauty Is Good Character” in one of following forms – drawing, painting, photography and illustration.
Eligibility and expectation(s):
- Open to everyone
- One (1) submission per person/participant. In other words, you can make submission in only one of the four (4) categories – drawing, painting, photography and illustration.
- Participation is free – at no cost to the participants (even for accepted entries).
- PositiveNaija Team (excluding Volunteers)
- Truth, creativity and initiative.
- All entries must be original work, taken by (or with the approval of the entrants). No third party may own or control any materials the photo contains, and the photo must not infringe upon the trademark, copyright, moral rights, intellectual rights, or rights of privacy of any entity or person.
- All conventional photo-editing methods are acceptable. Photos may be edited through any program and in any format. All entries must remain photo-realistic and editing should always be in enhancing an illusion or effect, but not create the illusion or effect.
- Artists are also free to sell their works, we take 0% commission, and any sale inquiries will be directed back to the artists.
- Once an entry is submitted, it is considered a final submission and may not be modified, edited, or replaced.
Format:
- Somewhere in your art submission, state your name and date.
- All entries must be submitted in either JPEG or PNG format (maximum of 500 KB).
- State the title of your work, art type/form and size of the work.
- A summary of no more than 50 words giving insights into the meaning or description of the work.
Reward [publication/publicity]: A total of 20 winners and their respective works will be published (5 winners per category).
All winning entries will be posted/uploaded on this post.
Timelines:
- Submission date by participants: December 10, 2022.
- PositiveNaija reviews and declares winners: December 2022 / January 2023.
