Ese Brume has set a new Personal Best time to win the 100 meters race event at the Buyukler Sampiyonasi meet in Turkey on the 4th of August 2019.
Ese Brume previously ran a time of 11.50 seconds in the semifinals before running a time of 11.41 seconds ahead of Burcu Erdemir who ran 11.71 seconds and Elif Polat in 11.81 seconds.
Ese also jumped a massive 7.05 meters to win the women’s Long Jump finals, also breaking her personal best in the event.
She moves to 2nd on the African all-time list behind Chioma Ajunwa’s African Record of 7.12 meters. Blessing Okagbare is third on the list with 6.96 meters.
Ese Brume had earlier set a new personal best in the Long Jump when she jumped 6.96 meters at the 5th International Sprint-Relay Cup in Erzurum Kadin.
Meanwhile, Chukwuebuka Enekwechi threw an impressive 21.26 meters throw at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Centniewo, Poland to come in second in the men’s Shot Put.
