2024 PositiveNaija Art Gallery Creative Exhibition is a unique display of artistic skills in cake design and art drawing competition in Karu, Abuja.
Cake Design Competition & Exhibition (Theme: “Truth”)
- Cost of participation: Free
- Number of cake submission: One cake submission per person
- Date: November 22, 2024
- Exhibition time: 10 am – 6 pm (public can buy the cakes)
- Provision of baking materials: By the baker
- Design type and cake size: As freely decided by the baker
- Assessment: Design (60%), taste (30%) and presentation (10%)
- Prizes: 1st – 25,000 Naira; 2nd – 15,000 Naira; 3rd – 10,000 Naira
Live Drawing Competition & Exhibition (Theme: “Alive”)
- Cost of participation: Free and one submission per participant
- Date: November 23, 2024
- Time for live drawing: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Exhibition time: 12:30 pm – 6 pm (public can buy the works of art)
- Materials: Pencil and art canvas (10*12 inches size & above). These are available for sale at the Gallery if needed by artists. Artists can also come with their easels if they wish.
- Provision of drawing materials: By the artists
- What to draw: Will be communicated on scheduled day/time
- Prizes: 1st – 25,000 Naira; 2nd – 15,000 Naira; 3rd – 10,000 Naira
Exhibition Details
- Venue: PositiveNaija Art Gallery and Gift Shop, Opposite Total Academy, Karu Site, Abuja, Nigeria.
- Date: November 22-23, 2024.
- Winners are declared/paid and given their certificates on the same day of the respective events.
- Registration (free): Mandatory on / before November 21, 2024. After this date, ₦1,000 fee is required.
- Rights of works: Both art drawings & cakes emerging as winners become fully owned by the Gallery.
